Telehealth for post operative orthopaedic/post surgical care

Typically, people from villages in India have to travel to cities for costly surgical procedures as most doctors are in cities. An example is orthopedic operations. Once the orthopedic operation is over, the patient needs to regularly visit the doctor at frequent intervals like a couple of weeks to check the status of healing or status of dressing etc. When they do this post operative care, the person from village has to spend again for costly stays in the city and travel. This can be easily done over a smartphone in a rural health center with proper camera and remote doctor and a onsite semi skilled nurse. This idea has been vetted with leading orthopedic surgeons. We need to develop such an application. It can be a web application or native Android application. We can focus on the most common operation like fracture healing.
